So, all in all there were too little advantages but too much disadvantages in the application of the ToV

- limited men for german's army 

- lands taken away (rhineland)

- pay reparations

- guilt

- overseas empire taken away

section 2 : (galvin)
-everyone wanted to blame germany for the war
- 100,000 voluntary men could join the army
- 6 batleships
- rhineland taken away
- no submarines, tanks
- peace treaty made by the big 3
