Section 1

Austria and Hungary was actually a different kingdom

Franz Ferdinand was the emperor and leader there.

The country was facing a war internally

There were so many different people that are colliding and franz joseph was in charged.

Back in the day, the Turks and Muslim groups started trying to move along to Europe- from asia to Europe

the Austrian army were able to mass and hold them at bay.

Section 2  – the domino effect

Major cause – the assassination of Franz Ferdinand

Germany didn’t want France to take over, so they made an alliance with Austria – Hungary

France also made an alliance with Russia and Britain, making the triple alliance.

The domino effect –

Austria – Hungary is in alliance with

France didn’t trust Germany at all

The alliance were used to reduce war among the countries

The black hand – a group that shot franz Ferdinand because they wanted to rebel the fact that the archduke wanted to make friends with other countries.

The British

They didn’t want Germany to rule over Europe and Germany

They wanted to speak for themselves

The Britain and Germany were competing with each other,

they were really bad rivals

Who were involved in world war 1 ?

The major players

·      France, the united kingdoms, Russia

·      Central power : Germany and Austria – Hungary

Countries that joined : brazil, japan Italy, Greece and others

why is it called world war ?

 because both Austria – Hungary Serbia had their own back up from the largest countries, Germany and Russia

both Germany and Russia back up for Austria- Hungary and Serbia also had their own allies.

how did the world war 1 start ?

the assassination of Austria’s Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife

how did world war 1 end ?

Germany surrender because their people and food has collapsed and finished
